Shamrock Inn and Bar to Sponsor #28 Brian Swiger

(Hagerstown, MD)  The Shamrock Inn and Bar, located 1/2 mile east of the Hagerstown Speedway, has agreed to sponsor the #28 Ford Thunderbird Pure Stock driven by Brian Swiger.  "Maureen and Bobby (owners of the Shamrock) have become great friends over this racing season and we are very proud and thankful for this sponsorship.  The 28 team has raced all year with no sponsorship and we needed this to make it through the season.  With Maureen's love of Ford's and Bobby's dislike of them, this should entertain the fans and Shamrock customers alike...", quoted driver Brian Swiger.  "I really look forward to getting the Shamrock Inn and Bar a lot of exposure over the next few races.  Look for strong finishes in the T-Bird, the newly sponsored 'Shamrock Inn-car Cam,' and autograph signings by myself and Bobby at the bar."

About the Shamrock Inn and Bar:  The Bar is located a 1/2 mile East of the track.  From the Hagerstown Speedway, turn left out of the track and the bar will be 1/2 mile down on the right.  From Hagerstown, take alternate 40 West past the Sheetz and the Shamrock Inn and Bar is about 4 miles on your left.  The bar is a great location for food and drinks after the race.  Maureen and Bobby cater to the racers and race fans.  Saturday nights have great bands, as well as any NASCAR Saturday night racing on their TVs.  The bar staff at the Shamrock Inn is second to none.

About Bobby and Maureen:  Bobby and Maureen own the Shamrock Inn and Bar and are very supportive of the racing at the Hagerstown Speedway.  They sponsor many cars, as well as the track itself.  Bobby is a racer through and through.  From his beautifully schemed Dale Earnhardt racecar, to his Intimidator looks, he races clean, but doesn't give an inch on the track.  To pass him, you better bring your best stuff, or at least drive a Ford.  Bobby is currently 7th in points and is in a run of 3 top 5 finishes.  With the pure stock class now having 35+ cars a night, Bobby and his Chevy are flying.
